Tuition and Discounts

Private Instruction Rates
• One Hour: $75.00
• Four Hours: $300.00
• Eight Hours: $500.00
• Custom Courses of less than one week must be scheduled at the Private Instruction rate of $500.00 per day.

Custom Course Rates
• One Week: $1500.00 per week
• Two to Three Weeks:  $1000.00 per week
• One Month or More:  $3500.00 per month

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your room and bench space.  If staying two months or less, the total tuition is due upon arrival, less the reservation deposit of $500.00. If staying more than two months, the balance of your tuition is due in equal monthly payments. Please contact us if you have any questions or need to arrange a payment plan for tuition.

Please Note: Tuition includes "student grade" wood. Better quality woods are available for an additional cost. Students provide all guitar hardware, including tuners, pickups, cases, etc., allowing for greater design flexibility.

Enrollment Discounts
In an effort to offset tuition costs and encourage long term students, Mountain View offers a variety of tuition discounts.  Please take a moment to review the information below, and feel free to contact us with any questions.  Please note:   Enrollment Discounts can not be combined, and are subject to our early termination policy outlined below.

Standard Discount:  Students receive a 10% discount on programs of study that are three months or more, when tuition is paid in full with registration. 

Enrollment Special:  Register for a six month program and receive ONE MONTH of tuition free! Register for a twelve month program and receive TWO MONTHS of tuition free.

Veteran's Discount:  Mountain View is proud to offer a 20% tuition discount to individuals who have served in the US armed forces.  Proof of service with a valid military I.D. or proof of Honorable discharge is required for eligibility.

Early Termination
Students choosing to terminate their studies early will have their tuition rates reassessed.  If the student received an enrollment discount, tuition rates will be recalculated based on the actual term of study. If tuition was paid in full, Mountain View will issue the student a refund using the following formula:

x Discounted Monthly Tuition Rate]
Less [Actual Term of Study (in months)
x Actual Monthly Tuition Rate]

If the student is paying on a monthly basis, any difference in tuition will be due when studies are terminated.

Registration: Program dates depend on student demands, and registration deadlines will be determined accordingly. We will try to accommodate special requests or needs within reason to meet student needs or time constraints. Click here for additional registration information.
